The aim of every old boys class chapter of a secondary school is to unite under a common frontier, associate, meet ,exchange pleasantries,recall past events and assists old collegues in the present and future endeavors. Dawakin kudu class 89 is more as members not only meet and exchange pleasantries or recall past events or old school activities/nick names, the class chapter undertake activities aimed at making the present condition of members more comfortable and desirable.
The class chapter has conceived several programme of activities aimed at improving the fortune of members.
In the first EXCO meeting 2008, members deliberated that new initiatives be brought to compliment the traditional approach in OLD BOYS associations.
The EXCO sought the following:-
1. Class quiz, debates and carrier guidance among present school boys of KASSOSA
2. Excursion and AGM/VISITS to selected areas of professional relevance.
3. Special visit to Dawakin Kudu Science College.
4. participating at Dawakin kudu science collogue Silver Jubilee Celebration.
5. Establishment of a medical team for Aminu Ibrahim @co.
6. Welfare for those needing help/aid among members particularly the blind Aluta mantana and the incapacitated Aminu Ibrahim among any other identified later.
7. Establishment of the website for the chapter.
8. undertaking 20th anniversary celebrations.
9. improving the fortune of those needing help through fund raising among members.
10.visiting and condoling parents of dead collegues/ giving them gifts.
